Additional investment in WTCS colleges in the 2023-25 biennial budget will support the colleges' proven strategies to deliver quality education and training by providing the resources needed for colleges to continue to innovate and develop new tools to educate, recruit, retain and support students.
Additional budget action will allow WTCS to:
- Make college more affordable
- Reskill and upskill Wisconsin's current workforce
- Sustain WTCS innovation
- Transform financial aid to work for all students

Wisconsin's technical colleges deliver consistently strong employment outcomes, including 93% of 2022 graduates in the labor force reporting they were employed within six months of graduation.
