WTCS graduates earn high marks from employers, deliver strong workforce outcomes

Wisconsin employers continue to express overwhelming confidence in graduates of the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS), citing strong skills, workforce readiness and educational quality, according to the newly released 2026 WTCS Employer Satisfaction Report. Employers reported that 97% were satisfied with technical college graduates' education, 96% would hire a WTCS graduate again and 92% would recommend a technical college graduate to other employers. Additionally, 97% of employers said their local technical college is important to the overall success of their business.

WTCS Board elects officers

The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board elected its officers at the July 14 Board meeting hosted by Western Technical College in La Crosse.

WTCS celebrates Aspen Prize finalist Chippewa Valley Technical College

The Aspen Institute has named Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) one of just 10 finalists for the 2027 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s premier recognition for community and technical colleges.
