Alex Lasry

Alex Lasry is the former co-owner and senior vice president of the Milwaukee Bucks. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Lauren, and their daughter, Eleanor.
Alex played a crucial role in the Milwaukee Bucks' evolution into a leading NBA franchise. Most notably, he helped lead the negotiations for the historic project labor agreement for the construction of Fiserv Forum, ensuring that the agreement included provisions to hire women and minorities that are often underrepresented among union workers.
In 2022, Alex ran for U.S. Senate where he finished second in the primary election. Alex also led the successful bid for Milwaukee to host the 2020 Democratic National Convention, and in 2019 Alex was named Milwaukee Community Leader and Executive of the Year for his efforts. Prior to his time with the Bucks he worked in the Obama White House as the deputy counselor for strategic engagement. He has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
