I chose to attend a technical college for many reasons, but most importantly it was because of the change that I was searching for in my career path. Being a full-time mother and now grandmother, as well as a full-time employee in the gaming industry for 20 years, I knew I wanted more out of life. A technical college was the best fit due to the advantage of working with my life schedule as I didn’t have time to dedicate to pursue an education full-time. An education that worked with my schedule, who could ask for anything more? After searching and taking a few courses with Nicolet College, I chose to continue attending not only because of the location, but because of the way the instructors and staff collaborated with our tribal communities. The amount of diversity, culture and support that a technical college offers to its students is beyond compare. Nicolet embraces its community and that speaks volumes. Truthfully, the type of education that I wanted for myself and one that I will continue to promote to all ages seeking to further their education, would be for them to search within the Wisconsin Technical College System.
