NWTC made it possible to further my education while continuing to support my family. I chose NWTC because it provided the flexibility I needed to balance my education, work and family life. As a work-study student, part-time Scuba instructor and shop manager, I needed a school that accommodated my demanding schedule.
Beyond flexibility, NWTC has been incredibly inclusive and supportive. They helped me navigate my veteran benefits, ensuring I could access the resources I earned through my service. They also provided invaluable assistance with my physical and mental health, making my transition into higher education much smoother. The support I received inspired me to pay it forward. With the knowledge I gained, I have been able to assist fellow veterans in accessing their benefits and finding additional resources. NWTC has also given me opportunities to give back to my local community by supporting veterans beyond education.
Choosing NWTC wasn’t just about earning a degree—it was about joining a community that truly cares. Their support has allowed me to grow academically, personally and professionally. I am grateful for the opportunities they have provided and for the ability to help others along the way.
