Computer Electronics Technology Programs
This program prepares students to be employed at the technician level or higher on computers, computer networks, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). PLCs are often the heart of the control portion of the manufacturing process. In addition to hardware training, students work with several operating systems and some software applications as well as assembly language programming. Students will have both classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction with several systems to help them understand microprocessors, computer and PLC interfacing, network installation, and administration.
