Rhinelander, WI – During a meeting hosted by Nicolet College in Rhinelander, the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board elected new Board officers.

Yesterday’s action by the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance, investing $9 million in new funding in the System over the next two years, was an important affirmation of the WTCS Board’s strategic directions.

These profoundly disheartening events must be a call to action for technical college leaders, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as System leaders and staff. As educators and learners, we embrace our responsibility and capacity to create inclusive, genuine spaces and systems that support equity.

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) have announced a new System-wide agreement. Technical college graduates who have an associate degree in a technical field may transfer to MSOE with junior standing in the university’s new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program focused on Technical Sales.
