There were multiple factors that led me to choose to attend a technical college. First, financially it was a more affordable option, as I didn’t have enough funds to cover tuition costs at a four-year college. Second, I believed that I would be more likely to succeed if I attended a college that was conducive to my learning style. I started college three years after graduating from a small high school and I found that a smaller school setting was more comfortable for me and allowed me to adjust more easily.
