Madison, WI - “The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) appreciates that Governor Evers has included in his proposed budget significant investments in our students and the capacity of Wisconsin 16 technical colleges to deliver much-needed talent for our employer partners,” said WTCS President Dr. Morna K. Foy.

“Proven, consistent and valuable outcomes for our students and employer partners make me confident that this investment would pay immediate dividends for communities throughout the state,” Foy said. “The Governor’s proposal is a very important start to 2019-2021 budget deliberations, and we look forward to working with the Governor and the Legislature in the weeks ahead.”

The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) offers more than 500 programs awarding two-year associate degrees, one- and two-year technical diplomas and short-term technical diplomas and certificates. In addition, the System is a premier provider of customized instruction and technical assistance for Wisconsin employers. More than 300,000 people enroll at a technical college each year.
