Animation Programs

This program is geared toward the student who has an associate degree in graphic design or commercial art, visual communications or work experience in the field of animation or multi-media production. Through coursework, students will create 3-D digital models and animate them using 3-D Softimage XSI Advanced software. They also will apply surface textures and colors using rendering techniques and experience 3-D computer design rendering and modeling software on Mac and high-end PC platforms. Through the coursework, students will learn stages of development required for digital animation production and will create projects using advanced animation software. This certificate offers the opportunity to explore advanced computer animation topics such as inverse kinematics and to train in multi-media computer or 3-D animation with a local business, animation studio, or media production facility.
