Construction and Remodeling Programs

The Construction and Remodeling option provides students with the skills necessary to plan and complete residential construction and remodeling projects. Students learn to work from prints, specifications and shop drawings. They learn to determine and complete site preparations, foundations, floor framing, as well as wall and roof framing. Additional areas of study include laying out and constructing stairs, and completing exterior materials and trim. Also includes learning to install kitchen cabinets, interior doors and trim.
