Wisconsin Technical College Local Anesthesia for Dental Hygienists Programs

This certificate prepares experienced Dental Hygienists to administer local anesthesia in the office setting. This 21-hour program includes 10 hours of classroom lecture and 11 hours of clinical experience. The program covers the neurophysiology and pharmacology of local anesthetic agents and how to effectively deliver them within the oral cavity.
