Mechanical Engineering Technology Programs

Through WCTC's Mechanical Engineering Technology program, students will learn computer-aided drafting, basic mechanisms, strength of materials and 3-D modeling. Mechanical Engineering Technicians assist engineers in product design, development and in the manufacturing process of machinery, equipment, consumer goods and other products. They prepare technical drawings that depict product details, dimensions, structure, materials and manufacturing procedures. Mechanical Engineering Technicians may employ techniques of computer integrated manufacturing.
