Surgical Technologist Programs

The curriculum provides instruction in medical-surgical terminology, weights and measures, moral and legal responsibilities, aseptic technique, positioning and transporting techniques, and how to report and record selected surgical data. The program curriculum also includes instruction in principles of operating room technique, surgical procedures, microbiology, anatomy and pathophysiology as it relates to surgical procedures.
